Fastbind’s C450E electric creasing machine is optimized
to work with Fastbind perfect binding machines. The C450E
makes the crease using two precision creasing blades and
works with almost any paper or cardboard up to 400 g/m ˛
(or 220 lb index stock).
Double creasing two sides
Fastbind ’s C450E is developed especially to crease book
covers and cards for the digital and print-on-demand
environment. It allows two simultaneous creases with 7
mm distance, in two opposite directions
(one up and one down).
This feature produces automatically the crease for
folding the cover and a sharp groove for a better
open ability and nicer appearance of the finished book.
You can also remove easily one of the blades for a
single crease.
Perforating tool available
The other noticeable novelty in the Fastbind C450E is
the possibility to
change the creasing blades for a single and powerful
micro-perforating tool. You perforate card as easily as
normal paper. The change is fast and simple: you don’t
need any tools and it only takes you less than 4
minutes.
Creasing width up to 450 mm
Fastbind ’s C450E scores your cartons up to 450 mm
width. Special step-shape rulers enable you to make up
to 4 creases without readjusting the machine and for
special needs, you and also use them
for diagonal creasing. The Fastbind C450E’s versatility
and adjustable power guarantee a sharp score in card,
paper, PVC coated cardboard, and numerous other
materials.
