Creasing
Details mean everything
A quality job begins with proper planning and design. All
binding machines require that the book block be squarely
registered on the cover. Without proper alignment and precise
measurement, your book covers text can be skewed or the spine
printing isn't balanced from edge to edge.
Various
print finishing jobs require creasing (or scoring) for short and
medium size book runs, invitations, postcards, calendars,
manuals, small boxes, information cards, presentation folders or
restaurant menus. A quality, precise crease is the foundation
for a quality product.
Fastbind's
creasing machines allow you to crease your jobs easily and
accurately. Like our binding machines, there is no expensive
set-up time and tooling required. Our C400 creaser is manually operated, heavy-duty and very
affordable. The
C450E is electric and operated by a foot-pedal.
Both
machines have a four-step adjustment so that you can quickly
crease your job with two spine creases and two opening creases.
The opening creases allow your book to open more easily and give
it a more professional finishing touch.
