Whether
you’re a small publisher, printer, bindery, copy center, or
corporation, the quality of your final product is important.
Laminating your soft and hard cover books ensures their
protection and extends their durability. Many companies
manufacture laminators, but most of them are tabletop machines
made with plastic components that aren’t suitable for long-term
professional use or produce the best possible results.
There are many factors that can affect the quality of your
lamination, the type and thickness of the laminate, paper grain
direction, constant heat and speed control and much more. To
make your life simpler, we offer a family of laminators that are
specifically designed so that you can laminate consistently,
with no wrinkles, no bubbles, and no troubles! You can do single
or double sided laminating as well as mounting. |

The
laminators can be ordered with either 1” or 3” mandrels. If
laminate regularly, use 3” core sizes. Save money, larger rolls
of laminate cost less per foot than smaller rolls! Not having to
change rolls as often means that you can be more productive.
Has paper
curl been a problem for you in the past? In many instances, the
solution to minimizing paper curl may not be a reverse curling
mechanism! Too much tension on the laminate causes material
stretching and memory. Our laminator allows the roll/cylinder to
spin freely as needed. The 3” mandrels/cores help to reduce
paper curl because it isn’t wrapped as tightly as smaller cores.
Finally, new nylon laminates are thinner and chemically
formulated to curl less.
Our
laminators are manufactured for fast warm up time and maintain
constant temperature throughout the run at plus or minus 3
degrees (hysterisis). Temperature is measured in the middle of
the roll, not just at the edge of the roll.
